International comparison of manifestations and tendencies of registered juvenile delinquency in Lithuania

In the article manifestations of registered juvenile delinquency, its‘ structure and tendencies in Lithuania are analyzed, Lithuanian indicators also compared with other European countries. The comparative study shows large differences which primarily determined by different scopes criminalization intensity formal control, as well rules for registering delinquency. absolute criminal offences have been decreasing past two decades, relative behavior consistently last five years. 2020–2021 number administrative offenses committed minors decreased, is associated restrictions public life introduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Serious violent crimes minors, characterized low latency, often widely described media, constitute a small part Lithuania, murders – 2021 it was smallest during entire period independent only one murder registered.
